We’re excited to welcome Chef Kanthi Thamma to Reading Room for a one-off supper club this May.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, Kanthi draws on the food, culture and flavours of his childhood. His journey started in his mother’s kitchen and has taken him across the world, shaping a style rooted in tradition but full of energy and depth. You may know his work from Curry Leaf Cafe, Easy Tiger, Palmito, and his latest project, The Spice Circuit Kitchen. Alongside this, he runs immersive food tours across South India and Sri Lanka.

The Supper Club

Coast to Coast is his tribute to the South West Coast of India, a region shaped by thousands of years of spice trade and cultural exchange. Stretching from Mumbai to Kanyakumari, this coastline is packed with bold flavours, fresh produce and rich history. For one night, we’ll bring that journey to Reading Room.

Our supper clubs are all about bringing people together. You’ll be seated on shared tables alongside other guests, creating a relaxed, sociable atmosphere where conversations flow as easily as the food. Come with friends or come solo, you’ll be in good company either way.
