Christmas at Reading Room is all about slowing down and enjoying the season with the people who matter most. As the nights draw in, the restaurant glows with candlelight and the soft buzz of good conversation. Gather around the table for comforting festive dishes made with care, a glass (or two) of something special, and that easy warmth that only comes from sharing food with friends and family.
Whether it’s a long-awaited catch-up or a Christmas gathering with loved ones, Reading Room is the perfect place to celebrate the spirit of the season together.

Get ready for an evening of live Jazz, great food and fireworks!
Join us on the 31st of December, we will be serving a beautiful candlelit dinner with sittings at 7pm and 9pm. The later sitting is ideal if you would like to stay with us as we welcome in the New Year. If you plan to join us for dinner, reservations are highly recommended.
If you are after a more relaxed evening, you are welcome to drop in for a drink and a few light bites with no need to book. Our covered heated terrace will be open all night and is the perfect spot to see in the New Year. You can also pop by earlier for a glass of fizz if you prefer a gentle start to the evening. A jazz singer will be performing throughout the night, creating a warm, elegant atmosphere that leads into fireworks at midnight.
